How is everyone?! I just dropped by for a quick hello and to let you know that I'm not really dead yet.
The girl:
I've been having too many events in my own life that I haven't had much time to sit and take a breather. I've been away almost every weekend since July, so lots of updates and tons of photos to upload from my summer excursions.
The art:
HP has already left my life for good, but art hasn't. I'd like to start posting other things now and maybe the occasional H/Hr art. Been studying and experimenting a lot with color so I'm looking forward to your thoughts.
The future:
I'll be posting new pics from my summer trips soon as I'm done editing them.
More art to come.
My gift post to Liv, rand0mica.
And now, the newest hit single by Katie Melua. God, she rocks!

I went to see OoTP on IMAX this weekend...twice! It was amazing. You know, it's even better on 3D. Daniel Radcliffe just inches from your face and he is incredibly hot in this movie. LOL! It was rather tempting to reach out and touch.
Anyway, with all the book 7 rumors going around and all the shitty things going on in the HP fandom, I just have these statements to make:
(sorry flist, I was being a bit bitchy in my last post and my migraine is not even a viable excuse for that and this is what I meant to say)
LONG LIVE LUNA LOVEGOOD because she's the only character worth following after HBP!
AND
I'm going to milk my DELUSIONS for all I've got until Friday. You know what that means? LOTS OF H/HR goodness coming your way! =)

With that, I'm off to find comfort from an author who can write about true love and enduring friendship...Diana Gabaldon. Here's to Jamie and Claire!

I gacked this from the New York Times courtesy of my dearest friend, Henluen. They're ficlets and scenarios by established authors. Give it a try if you're bored at work. I cracked up so hard my coworkers think I'm nuts!
Here's my favorite one (it's slightly H/Hr). See, we're not the only ones.
The rest can be found here: NYtimes.com. I think you might have to subscribe in order to access it, but it's a free online subscription.

What are the top 5 things you WANT to see happen in Book 7?
1. Harry doesn't kill Voldemort, but turns him into an Obliviated Muggle.
2. Hermione finally admits her devotion and love to Harry after Ron clarifies that he and Hermione never had anything going on. The big plot twist. Dun! Dun! Dun! And we find out in the epilogue that they post-poned parenthood to become kick-ass Aurors and rid the world of more evil. Ron runs off to join the Chudley Cannons and have a dozen ginger-haired, blue-eyed babies with Luna.
3. Snape is neither working for Dumbledore or Voldemort because he's his own man and he's only doing things to save his own arse.
4. Character deaths: Hagrid, Ginny, Molly, Bellatrix, Lucius, Wormtail, and Snape (even though I love him). Ron sacrifices himself to allow Harry and Hermione to reach Voldemort, but does not die. Neville does not die!
5. We find out that Harry was drugged in HBP by non-sinister AND sinister sources.
